Reservations.

I believe this one could be tagged "Just what the hell was I thinking".

I've gone and done it.

I'm registered for a 10k.

My running routine has gotten rather stale, and for the past two weeks, I haven't been running much at all. Since terror is a good motivator for me, what better way to get back on track than to run in a race! (I can hear the chanting now, "They're all going to laugh at you!")

The 10k is for the upcoming Garlic Festival in North Plains in two weeks. Part of me is quite nervous. The other part is super excited to consume as much garlic in as many forms as possible until the sweet smell permeates my every pore. (We kinda like garlic in this house....)

Let the preparations begin. (Jogging and finding some ultra-heavy duty toothpaste.)

When I walked the marathon a few years back our running coach taught us the phrase "Left, right, repeat" to help us get through the many, many miles. I hope it helps in your training!

Hooray for you with the running and the garlic! :) I'm VERY proud of you for the former, and super excited to hear more about both.

YAY!
